Reincarnated As The Man
Who Saw God Face To Face
The Parable
The man who saw
God face to face came to his father’s house. As he entered the compound, children
were playing, in the evening. He greeted and hugged them, and then went inside
house. The children followed him inside.
Inside the sitting
room, what some people call parlour, the children each took a seat. But, one
child, called Chioma Okafor, the daughter of his sister, followed him to the
dining table, where her mother was.
The child then
engaged the Master and Teacher in conversation, by asking him so many
questions, series of questions. The adults wanted to stop the child, but he
said to them, “Leave her alone, for she has done what the pastors, reverend
fathers, ministers of God and women in the ministry have failed to do”.
After another long
time, the adults wanted to stop the child again from asking questions, but he
said to the adults, “This is the wisest child, for she has spent her time
asking about her Father’s kingdom and His righteousness. This very conduct of
hers is what the men of God should have done, to meet the man who saw God face
to face, to welcome him, and to ask questions. But being selfish, misguided and
proud, they neglect this very important duty, and keep themselves busy mocking,
teasing, criticizing and condemning the man who saw God face to face, before
more than forty (40) times, and now more that seventy (70) times.”
Concluding, the
Master and Teacher said, “This is another case of Mary and Martha, and this
child shall never lose her blessings and eternal life, for she has honoured the
word of God more than others.”
